Group spiritual direction is a wonderful way to become acquainted with the concept of spiritual direction. A committed group gathers together regularly with the purpose of assisting one another in becoming more aware of God’s presence in all areas of life.

As the group’s spiritual director, I will provide materials and assist with fostering an environment of whole-hearted participation, genuine honesty, and healthy listening. 

 

New groups forming:

The two groups that will begin in the fall will focus on different Spiritual Disciplines and Prayer Practices. We will meet virtually once a month for nine months. The sessions begin in September and end in May. You will be committing to one of the two groups and not moving back and forth between the options. Group interaction is crucial, so there is a minimum and maximum number of members needed. If a group does not meet the minimum, I will go ahead and cancel that group.   

 

Group #1: The first group will meet in the evening on the third Tuesday of every month from 6pm-8pm beginning on September 19th and going through the month of May 2024.  The only exception with be on May 21, 2024. That session will be moved to May 28th. 

 

Group #2: The second group will be a daytime group that will meet the fourth Friday of every month from 9am-11am beginning on September 22nd. 

 

The cost for all nine months will be $300. This fee can be paid all at once the week before our first session OR payment can be divided into two payments of $150 each with the first payment due one week prior to our first meeting together and the second payment due on the January meeting date. 

 

There will be one book needed (with an “optional” book list also provided). I will send it out a few weeks before our first session.
